Guest House - 22kW PV Project in Pattaya, Thailand
Located in the heart of Chonburi, this villa is surrounded by high-rise buildings, with rooftops facing multiple directions. Every afternoon, partial shading occurs as nearby structures block the sunlight, causing the PV strings to suffer from reduced efficiency.
To overcome these challenges and enhance system performance, the project adopted the AndSolar Smart PV Optimizer AMCP. Each PV module is equipped with independent Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), ensuring that even when some modules are shaded, the string will work at its optimal efficiency—eliminating the “barrel effect” common in traditional PV systems.
With precise optimization and module-level control, the villa can now make full use of sunlight, maximizing solar power generation. Here's our joinery in Pattaya, a villa powered by sunshine, and a story powered by AndSolar.
