With the rise of solar energy, a factory located in Fujian chose to upgrade its facility with a rooftop solar PV system. However, as high capacity installed and PV modules spread across the factory, managing safety and daily O&M can become challenging.
Since PV modules generate high DC voltage whenever there is sunlight, often exceeding 1,000V in series connections, and with part of the PV modules installed on the warehouse and office building rooftop, any electronic fault event could potentially cause greater risk to the asset and people in the factory. With AndSolar module-level shutdown, which allows the system to shutdown in time, preventing risk from expanding and protecting the safety and property.

The plant has more than 1MW capacity distributed on five buildings. It will be time and labor-consuming to do the O&M. Thanks to AndCloud, allowing users to get real-time 1:1 module-level monitoring and positioning. Users can directly see the operational data of each module and easily locate the faulty modules online, and arrange timely maintenance, which improve 50% O&M efficiency.
