According to the Thai Electrical Code: Solar Rooftop Power Supply Installations 2022, Thai rooftop photovoltaic projects must be installed with a Rapid Shutdown Device. The specification requires that the RSD must ensure that the voltage within 300mm of the PV matrix is ​​reduced to below 80V within 30 seconds after startup; for areas outside this range, the voltage must be reduced to below 30V within the same time. Since its introduction, this regulation has put forward strict requirements for the safety compliance of photovoltaic power stations, driving the demand for module-level shutdown solutions in the Thai market.

The new smart power optimizer AMCP, based on the safety features of the RSD and smart monitoring, enables each photovoltaic module can operate in the best state. By finely adjusting the output of each module, the "barrel effect" caused by the mismatch of the photovoltaic system can be solved, and the overall power generation efficiency of the power station can be significantly improved. The product supports 1 to 1 and 1 to 2 connections, and can be flexibly mixed installed with the RSD, maintaining higher safety while reducing the overall cost by 50%.
